The blue rectangle represents the downbeat and it always must be performed with a down-stroke, be it an air-stroke or an ordinary stroke.
The yellow rectangle represents the upbeat and it always must be performed with an up-stroke, be it an air-stroke or an ordinary stroke.
The picking notation is shown below: here you can find ordinary strokes and air-strokes, which are in parentheses and in a lower position: They’re designed this way in order to facilitate the immediate understanding and execution of the exercises!
With Air Strumming you’ll never find yourself with a counter-accent or with a wrong right-hand movement!
